One week after the start of school, the authorities admit that we are bad at vaccinating students. Approximately 200,000 students, aged between 12 and 19, have been immunized so far, announced the Minister of Education Sorin Câmpeanu. According to him, at the beginning of the school year, parents will receive a form in which they will answer the question of whether or not to vaccinate their children. For this, in each school there will be a person who will keep in touch with them. The Minister explained why this form is necessary.

The minister also said that it is possible that in the second half of October, the capital will reach the threshold of six COVID-19 infections per thousand inhabitants, at which time all schools will go online for ten days.

In his turn, the pediatrician Mihai Craiu said that the scientific studies published until the end of last year show that the risk of dying as a result of complications generated by the SARS-CoV-2 infection is very low in children.
