The decoration ceremony of the workers was held yesterday, May 1, 2024, at noon, in the hall of the National Social Security Fund building, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Civil Service, Labor and Employment, Ms. Aissatou Abdoulaye Tondi.

This year, a sample of twelve winners from the public, parapublic and private sectors received their medals of honor for work from members of government. The ceremony was also an opportunity for the Minister of Civil Service to receive the lists of complaints from the various union centers.

In fact, it was after the traditional march that the union centers and their affiliates came together at the Caisse building to present their complaints regarding the needs and expectations of the protesters.

During this ceremony, medals of honor for work (bronze, silver, gold as well as the large gold medal) were awarded to a sample of twelve workers selected for the occasion.

Finally, Ms. Aissatou Abdoulaye Tondi assured the union movements that their complaints will be carefully investigated by the government.
