Case land mafia involving unscrupulous officials from the National Land Agency (BPN) has been revealed by the ranks of the Polda Metro Jaya in the past week. This afternoon the police released a complete case of the land mafia involving the BPN officials.
Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran directly led the press conference which was held at the Ditreskrimum building of the Polda Metro Jaya. Minister of ATR/BPN Hadi Tjahjanto was also present at the location.
So far, a total of six BPN officials have been arrested by the police. They were arrested in several areas.

Two of them are PS, who was the Coordinator of Land Arrangement Substance at the South Jakarta BPN when the crime occurred, and MB, who was the Head of the North Jakarta BPN PTSL Adjudication Team. PS and MB as well as two other officials were named suspects along with 25 other people.
Involve 6 BPN Offices
The dozens of suspects consist of non-permanent employees at the BPN in the Jakarta and Bekasi areas, government civil servants, village heads, to banking service people.
“For now, we have arrested four BPN ASN officials in the Jakarta and Bekasi areas and named them suspects,” said Director of Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Hengki Haryadi, when asked for confirmation by reporters, Wednesday (13/7).
On Friday (15/7), the police again said that they had arrested two other BPN officials who were involved in the land mafia case in Bekasi. The two officials are the Head of the Palembang City BPN Office with the initials NS (50) and the Head of the Survey at the West Bandung BPN Office, RS (58). The hospital previously served as Head of Measurement and Mapping at the Bekasi Regency BPN Office.
“NS was arrested for a crime related to the land mafia that occurred in Bekasi while serving as Head of Measurement Infrastructure at the Bekasi Regency BPN Office,” said Hengki.
In addition to the hospital and NS, the police arrested a retired BPN official with the initials PS (59). PS was previously the former Coordinator of Measurement at the Bekasi Regency BPN Office.
The three of them are now suspects and have been detained at the Polda Metro Jaya. The three suspects were arrested in connection with the land mafia case in Bekasi Regency.
