Minister Miloshev opens the “Cultural Tourism” exhibition – 2024-10-08 05:23:05

Acting Minister of Tourism Evtim Miloshev will open this evening the international exhibition “Cultural Tourism”, which is being held for the 19th year in Veliko Tarnovo. 10 countries and 30 Bulgarian municipalities will be represented in the three-day forum.

The international exhibition “Cultural tourism” in Veliko Tarnovo is the only tourist exchange in our country aimed at the development of this segment of tourism. Bulgaria, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Romania, China, Greece, Serbia and North Macedonia will show their tourist product, potential and culture. Highlights of the exhibition are also the presentations of the Bulgarian municipalities.

Regarding the professional topics for discussion during the exhibition, Borislav Yordanov, manager of the Tsarevgrad Tarnov Municipal Tourism Society, organizer of the exhibition, pointed out:

“Tourism – the hospitality industry, the hospitable city”. The other conference is “Museums of the future – the future of museums”, innovation in museums, for digitalization of museums. The other important conference is how the film industry affects cities and changes tourism and the image of a city after movies were shot in it”.

Highlights of the program are the culinary event of Greek chefs and the national competition “READ AND TRAVEL”.

This year, the location of the international exhibition “Cultural tourism” in Veliko Tarnovo has been changed and the forum will be held in the business center on the outskirts of the city in the direction of Sofia.
