Minister Marlaska visits the forward command post in El Paso

MADRID, 21 (EUROPA PRESS)

The Interior Minister, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, visited the advanced command post located at the Caldera de Taburiente Visitor Center in El Paso on Tuesday, which was displaced by the volcanic eruption on the island of La Palma.

Specifically, 800 people from all administrations make up the Civil Protection device that has been deployed in the area, the Ministry has reported through social networks.

The lava from the ‘Cumbre Vieja’ volcano has already reached the Todoque neighborhood, in Los Llanos de Aridane, which has been evicted – a little more than 1,000 people live – the same thing that happened on Monday night in Tacande, in El Paso, after the appearance of a new eruptive mouth.
