With this integrated step, the government is targeting to test around 500 thousand people per day. This is aimed at reducing the positive ratio of the corona virus to below 25% in June-July.
Then the ratio is expected to fall again to less than 15% in September. “We expect the positive ratio to fall below 5% in October-December,” he said.
Meanwhile, the bed occupancy rate is currently targeted at 50% – 80%. Then it is targeted to drop to below 50% in October – November. “We set these targets well,” said Luhut.
He also said that the Covid-19 vaccination was targeted at 1.25 million in Java and Bali this month. This means that 75% of the targeted population have received the first dose of vaccine and 27% of the second dose.
The increase in Covid-19 vaccination will also be carried out outside Java and Bali. “Vaccinations will be carried out on a massive scale, because there are sufficient numbers,” said Luhut.
