Minister Katsarov’s order on the new anti-epidemic measures – 2024-04-21 09:30:12

/ world today news/ Health Minister Stoicho Katsarov issued an order to introduce new anti-epidemic measures, his department announced.

As of September 7, Tuesday, with his order, the Minister of Health introduced new anti-epidemic measures on the territory of Bulgaria:

1. The conduct of face-to-face group classes in language, educational and other training centers and schools is allowed provided that a physical distance of at least 1.5 m is observed and no more than 10 people in a room and protective masks are worn.

2. Visits to children’s centers, clubs and others providing organized group services for children are suspended.

3. Congresses, conferences, seminars, symposia, trainings, etc. is allowed when using no more than 30% of the room’s capacity and with up to 30 participants, subject to physical distance and wearing protective masks.

4. The holding of team building and other organized group events of this nature in labor collectives is suspended.

5. The holding of contests and exams is allowed when using no more than 30% of the room’s capacity, with up to 30 participants, subject to a physical distance of at least 1.5 m and wearing protective masks.

6. The holding of all mass events, where the attendees are not organized with specific seating positions and the entrance (participation) is unlimited, is suspended.

7. Visits to cinemas, theaters, circus performances, concerts and other indoor stage events are allowed when using no more than 50% of the capacity of the premises, occupying only one sitting place and wearing protective masks.

8. Visits to museums and galleries are organized by allowing no more than 1 person per 8 square meters, subject to physical distance and wearing protective masks.

9. Visits to centers, schools and other objects for dance and music art are allowed when using no more than 30% of the capacity of the premises and with up to 10 people in a room.

10. The holding of sports competitions of a professional nature indoors is allowed without an audience.

11. The holding of sports competitions of a professional nature in the open air is allowed with an audience when occupying no more than 30% of the capacity, using only sitting places when occupying every third seat and wearing protective masks.

12. Visits to fitness centers are allowed when using no more than 30% of the capacity of each room and observing physical distance and wearing a protective mask by the staff.

13. Visits to sports halls and clubs, swimming pools and complexes are allowed only for individual sports when using no more than 30% of their capacity and observing a physical distance of at least 1.5 m. The conduct of indoor collective sports is suspended , with the exception of training and competitions for carded professional competitors.

14. Visits to balneotherapy, spa, wellness and thalassotherapy centers are allowed when using 30% of their capacity, observing physical distance, wearing protective face masks for services that allow their use, and creating a schedule for individual use, if possible of services.

15. Visits to food and entertainment establishments, gaming halls and casinos are allowed only in the time interval from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., subject to a distance of 1.5 m between the backs of the chairs at the adjacent tables, admission of no more than 6 people at one table and wearing of protective masks by the staff.

16. Private gatherings are allowed with the participation of no more than 30 people indoors and 60 people outdoors.

17. Natural and legal persons – owners or managers of commercial, administrative or other facilities providing services to citizens, create an organization to control the number of customers in the respective facility, not allowing more than 1 person per 8 square meters.

18. In markets, fairs, bazaars and exhibitions, an organization is created for one-way traffic, ensuring control of the persons entering and admitting no more than 1 person per 8 square meters and wearing a protective mask by workers and visitors.

The introduced anti-epidemic measures under items 1, 3, 7, 8, 9, 12 and 13 may not be applied under the following conditions:

– 100% of the staff have been vaccinated or have recovered from COVID-19, or have a negative result of a test carried out prior to entering the site/event, certified by valid documents for vaccination, recovery from illness or testing and

– the site manager/event organizer has decided and created the necessary organization to admit only persons who:

· have been vaccinated or have contracted COVID-19, certified by valid documents for vaccination or for contracting the disease, or

· present a negative result of a PCR conducted up to 72 hours before entering the facility/event or a rapid antigen test (up to 48 hours before entering the facility/event).

The mandatory distance of 1.5 m between the backs of the chairs of the neighboring tables and the admission of no more than 6 people at one table (according to item 15) may not apply if the specified conditions are met.

The order is valid until 31.10.2021.
