Thiruvananthapuram: Minister Kadakampally Surendran paid tributes to the late famous singer MS Naseem. The minister said he had been in a relationship with Nazis for more than 40 years. “I was shocked to hear that MS Naseem, a singer and close friend of mine, has left. I have a personal relationship with Naseem for more than four decades. Naseem was an active SFI activist while studying at University College. At the same time, he was very popular as a singer in and out of college.
” Later he was able to make unique contributions to the Malayalam music industry through plays and stage shows. Naseem was the lyricist of the first Malayalam music series ‘Aayiram Ganagangal Than Ananda Lahari’. If the untimely paralysis had not paralyzed Naseem, Naseem would still be in the cultural scene of Thiruvananthapuram as a singer and art organizer.
“I have been bedridden for the last few years, but Prasanna Naseem has never given up. During this time he visited Naseem several times and inquired about his health. Naseem’s health has been known to be deteriorating for the past few days. I was in the hospital because of Kovid and could not visit him when I found out he was ill. Naseem had said goodbye before he left, but it was too late.
Naseem shares the grief of his relatives and all the art lovers who love him. Tributes ”.
