“Minister Hector Hajjar apologizes for delay in AMAN program payments due to strike and holiday”

Central – The caretaker Minister of Social Affairs, Hector Hajjar, issued a statement regarding the “Aman” program, stating: “In view of the general strike carried out by public sector employees, and due to the complex mechanisms for transferring funds from abroad to the account of the program at the Banque du Liban and the Easter and Al-Fitr holidays, we apologize.” For the delay in the payment process for the beneficiaries of the AMAN program for this month, provided that the beneficiaries can withdraw financial assistance for two months, starting from May 20, 2023.
