The Hague – Minister Grapperhaus (Justice and Security) was involved at his own request in the Dam demonstration that got out of hand on 1 June. One day before the corona rules in the capital were massively violated, the CDA minister asked national police chief Van Essen to keep him informed. This is in stark contrast to earlier lectures given by the minister.
