In addition, he revealed that the Assembly had requested 2,500 doses for deputies and officials. But the Panavac-19 team only approved one batch of 500 doses.
“This is a Panavac strategy that is continuous where we evaluate all requests. And in the essential groups that is phase one and stage 1 B, they include firefighters, Sinaproc … everything you know: Supreme Court … ports. They are different institutions that you are including ”, he said.
Ruiz said that since “obviously there are not enough vaccines, we have to give a little to all of them. In fact, the Assembly requested 2,500, but we wanted to prioritize: we requested prioritization of their groups with chronic diseases, over 60, some people who were more exposed to care for the community, and they gave us a list of 500 people, which they prioritized.
