After the seizure of the company’s accounts, the Minister of Energy invited the capital’s mayor, Vasil Terziev, and the management of “Toplofikatsia-Sofia” to a meeting to find a permanent solution to the problem. It became clear on Friday about the seized accounts of “Toplofikatsia-Sofia”.
After today’s meeting, it became clear that a working group is being formed and three types of measures will be taken – short-term, medium-term and long-term.
The total liabilities of the company are over one billion and 600 million to “Bulgargaz” and “Bulgarian Energy Holding”. The director of “Bulgargaz” Veselin Sinabov stated that negotiations are underway for the phased payment of the liabilities worth BGN 800 million and explained that the garnishment claim is partial. The reason is that “Toplofikatsia-Sofia” has not paid its obligation from the winter period, nor those for the summer months, which are much smaller.
