According to the minister, it is possible that the electronic register for vaccination will work again on Thursday.
“If by Wednesday all the results we expect from the laboratories of Forensic Medicine in Plovdiv come out, we can resume the vaccination process on Thursday,” said Prof. Angelov.
Regarding the quarantine for those arriving from Africa, the minister said that it was imposed in order to make the life of Bulgarians on the territory of the country safer.
“There are indications that variants of the virus, including South African and Nigerian, may be imported from Africa, which have been reported to be resistant to both treatment and the vaccine. We are obliged to do this thing in view of the prevention of all Bulgarian citizens “, added Prof. Angelov.
