Minimum tax for multinationals, more vaccinations and on…

At the G20 summit in Rome, heads of state and government reached an agreement to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees. This is apparent from the draft statement that AFP and DPA could view. The G20 wanted to send out a strong signal in view of the COP26 climate conference that started in Glasgow on Sunday, but that didn’t happen. For example, they did not set a target date for achieving carbon neutrality, nor for ending electricity generation from coal.
