MINI Cooper S 5-Door Sport officially paved in Indonesia. This car adds to the 5-Door model family in Indonesia, where previously there were only Cooper, Cooper S and Resolute Edition.
“It’s about maximizing MINIfication. The MINI 5-Door is a vehicle that can be relied upon but can still enjoy performance and handling as MINI’s identity, introduce this MINI Cooper 5-Door Sport,” said BMW Group Indonesia President Director Ramesh Divyanathan in a press conference.

To attract lovers of small high-performance cars, the MINI Cooper S 5-Door Sport is offered with a 2.0L MINI TwinPower Turbo engine. This machine can churn out 192 PS of power at 5,000-5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 280 PS at 1,350-4,600 rpm. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. While the top speed can reach 235 km / hour. The engine is paired with a 7-speed Dual Clutch transmission.
From a design standpoint, outside the MINI pin Aerokits John Cooper Work (JCW), uses 18-inch JCW wheels, strips on the bonet, LED lights, and a touch of black color on several sides. Then there are also panorama glass roof.
Inside, a strong sporty feel is felt with black on the surface. JCW leather upholstery is also pinned dinamica carbon black, armrest, steering wheel covered in Nappa Leather with the JCW emblem, digital instrument cluster, on-board computer, and light indicators with navigation. To make it even more comfortable, there is also an automatic AC setting, ambient lightcenter mirror that has been equipped auto anti-dimming so it doesn’t glare.

To pamper drivers along the way, MINI has also embedded an entertainment system in the form of MINI Connected, a navigation system, MINI visual boost radio and Apple CarPlay. Then there are safety features such as a rear camera, fire extinguisher, park distance controlrain sensor, run flat tyres, rear fog lamps. There are also other features that carry radar such as cruise control with braking function until driving assistant with lane departure warning.
