The Mini Clubman first appeared in the brand’s offer as early as 1969, and in total over 1.1 million units were produced.
At the same time, this is not the first “end” of the Clubman model in the history of the brand. After its premiere in 1969, it was produced until 1982. It was returned to the offer only in 2007, when the Mini brand was already owned by BMW. In 2013, the range was expanded to include the utility Mini Clubvan, and in 2016 the Clubman All-4 became the brand’s first model with all-wheel drive.

Over 1.1 million units of the Mini Clubman have been sold since it was first introduced, with more than half being built in Oxford. In addition, production also took place at the Swindon factory, and over half a million cars were created during the BMW era. The model was exported to more than 50 markets worldwide.
“We are extremely proud to have produced the Mini Clubman for customers around the world for 18 years at our factories in Oxford and Swindon. With his departure, we look forward to welcoming members of the new Mini family to our lines in Oxford and Swindon, including the new convertible, which we will start producing later this year,” commented Markus Grüneisl, CEO of the Oxford and Swindon plants, on the end of production.
