MINI celebrates its 20th anniversary

An intensive makeover will delight fans of MINIs. Come and discover it this weekend, in Arlon, at Bilia-Emond.

In 1959, under the Morris and Austin brands, a revolutionary small car was born in England, in Longbridge near Birmingham. It was created to deal with the oil crisis caused by the nationalization of the Suez Canal by Egypt. First sold under several brands, it became an entire brand in 1969. In 2001, the German group BMW bought the concept and launched the sale of the MINI.

In 2001, the dealer Philippe Emond d’Arlon (now Bilia-Emond), integrated the MINI into its new showroom by dedicating a privileged space to it.

An anniversary should be celebrated!

The incredible success of the MINI, both in the province of Luxembourg and in the Grand Duchy, has been dazzling. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, in the midst of “Salon” conditions, the British brand is launching the new MINI, available in its four versions (3-door, 5-door, Cabrio and Electric).

On the occasion of twenty years of presence in the Arlon dealership, fans of MINIs and those who dream of owning one, will have the opportunity to discover the new 5-door version in the Arlon showroom, during open days on January 29, 30 and 31.

With a intensive makeover MINI 3-door, MINI 5-door and MINI Cabrio, the British premium brand MINI confirms its position as a premium supplier of driving pleasure through expressive design and individual styling. Their clean exterior look underlines the brand’s iconic style. Inside, the cockpit, extensively redesigned, underlines the high-end character of the MINI 3.
