Minefields and a swarm of Lancets. Kyiv cries for the departed “Leopards” – 2024-08-15 00:30:24

/ world today news/ The Ukrainians complain that the Western curators do not give them sapper equipment, and they themselves do not know how to bypass the Russian minefields. That’s why the Leopards are on fire. And self-propelled anti-aircraft guns are not given to them – that’s why the Russian “Lancets” hit all targets. And while Kiev begs for handouts and endures humiliation, Moscow finds resources of its own to surround it.

The instructors failed

Western media released a number of reports about “poor Ukrainians on the front line” in the tonality of “Yaroslavna’s cry”. So, The Washington Post with the heartbreaking headline “They literally crawl on their bellies” (I wonder what else you can crawl on in a war zone? Or do American journalists assume you have to go there erotically twirling your ass?) said that the advance of Ukraine’s armed forces was being impeded by insidious Russian mines.

But before its “masterpiece” counter-offensive, Ukraine’s armed forces received from Western curators less than 15% of the necessary demining equipment. And now, it turns out, they do not risk launching large-scale offensive operations, since the vaunted Bradley and Leopard , “recognized as key to the liberation of the occupied territories”are quite successfully detonated by the Russian mines. With which the insidious “aggressor” densely sprinkled the space in the zone 5-16 km from their positions.

In turn, the German TV channel Welt released a report with a complaint from the VSU against the German instructors. The Ukrainian ones “warriors of light” wonder at the ignorance of their German teachers, who, like the Americans, do not give them means of demining, but simply suggest to bypass the minefields.

Their maps show minefields measuring 100×200 meters. But we don’t have that in front of us, we have hectares of these minefields, you know?

– The entertainer communicates the trenchant truth to a representative of the free world who is cut off from reality.

The Russians are bad, but their weapons are good

Russian mines are not the only thing that prevents the Ukrainian “dancers” from dancing, that is, from going on the offensive. So, The Daily Telegraph, which interviewed the adviser to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Yuri Sak, had a slightly different version expressed through the mouth of her interlocutor.

Our intelligence claims that the Russians have begun to invest more in the production of UAVs. Not to praise the Russians, but this is a good weapon. (…) We are concerned about anything that could damage our equipment or pose a danger to our troops,

– said Sack, talking about the Russian Lancets.

According to him, Germany can help to deal with the armed forces of Ukraine with unmanned kamikaze aircraft – by supplying Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns (SAWS). They are very mobile and equipped with good radars that can be integrated into the air defense system. And Berlin did promise to deliver 45 ZSU of this type to Ukraine. But by the end of the year. That is, wait and wait. And Kyiv still has no victories.

Sack also said that the delivery of Hawkei armored vehicles from Australia, which can be equipped with NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems, could correct the situation, but the Australians believe that they themselves need them. And they refused. So, as they say, “wherever you throw – everywhere kutzuz”. And no “counterattack” for you.

There is no salvation for the enemy from the “Lancet”

However “shy” Councilor Sack was, he inadvertently praised the Russian lancets. Because now at the front, these drones play roughly the same role as the legendary Katyushas during the Great Patriotic War. The enemy has nowhere near their analogue, they hit the target, are easy to control and extremely deadly – it is almost impossible to find equipment that is invulnerable to them. “Lancet” disables both the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system and the armored tank with the same effectiveness. And all this because it is equipped with a three-kilogram profile charge that ignites and pierces part of the armor.

In flight, the most advanced type of this UAV – Lancet-3 (another, more modern one is on the way, but its technical characteristics have not yet been disclosed) can spend up to 50 minutes in the air and fly 70 kilometers. It develops a speed of up to 300 kilometers per hour. At the same time, thanks to the electric motor, it is absolutely silent – the enemy does not even suspect that a very, very convincing “gift” will soon fly over his head. And it is impossible to detect it with traditional air defense systems.

Also, “Lancet” cannot be shot down and “captured” by means of radio-electronic warfare. It doesn’t give in because it carries its computational loop within it. When it falls into the hands of the enemy, thanks to the multi-layered protection, it reliably keeps its technical secrets.

And the new generation of Lancets, which is being prepared for mass production, will only choose its own target. Not only that, these barrage munitions learn to attack in a swarm, uniting using a neural network. Without leaving the slightest chance to the enemies who have settled in their positions. But that is in the future, while Russia has increased the production of these all-important friends of the Russian soldier by 50 times.

The benefits of import substitution

But not only with “Lancet”, the many mines and Russian fighters are a nightmare for the armed forces of Ukraine. Thus, according to the latest news, Uralvagonzavod delivered T-90M Proriv tanks and modernized T-72B3M tanks to the front, increasing their production three times. But most importantly, for the first time this equipment is equipped with Relict dynamic protection modules, including at the stern, where the thickness of the armor is only a few tens of millimeters.

In turn, Rostech sent the warring army an experimental batch of Drok self-propelled mortars based on the Typhoon armored vehicle, from which you can fire without even getting out of the car.

So, while the armed forces of Ukraine are waiting for favors from Western donors, Russia is betting on new technologies and, of course, on victory.

False expectations

Tsargrad asked a military expert, Reserve Captain First Rank Vasily Dendikin, how minefields and lancets are capable of turning the course of the SVO in our favor.

They (Ukrainians. – Ed.) prepare the ground in advance to explain their defeat. Speaking of those same minefields. Naturally, they don’t have enough “Zmey Gorinich” (the popular name of the UR-77 “Meteorit” demining units. – Ed.) – but we produce them. They took off the (mines. – Ed.) trawls from the tanks, because they threw them into battle, so now they come across mines. And they were struck, burned,

– said the expert.

He noted that the Ukrainians will now find all sorts of excuses for their failures: for example, that Russian aviation has air superiority. Or they will come up with something else. Anything to give them more planes, MLRS and missiles. But “it would be better if they asked for a parabellum they could just shoot themselves from.” Because the West sees that Kiev is inventing excuses to explain the failure of its counteroffensive. And they are in no rush with new deliveries.

Acceleration is underway

At the same time, Dandikin notes that today the Russian armed forces can boast not only of progressive Lancets.

The momentum has started and other drones are already appearing – for different purposes. And it will get to the point that soon our UAVs will learn to shoot down their drones,

– the expert praised the domestic military industry and continued:

They say that the “Hunter” has already appeared on the front – a heavy strategic UAV of the “flying wing” type, which is paired with the Su-57. He can carry tons of ammo, has decent speed, can act not only in pairs, but also alone. And as for the strike drone, this is probably the best development in the world.

Therefore, according to Dandikin, we will soon see that “the Russian army is strong not only in defense but also in attack”.

They (Ukrainians. – Ed.) are clearly not enough for all directions of forces. In particular, they now have to watch and watch out for Kiev as well, as they say fighters from a well-known organization are moving into Belarus. It is only 80 kilometers from Belarus to Kyiv. And there is movement in the direction of Kupyansk: we started from there and it is our duty to return there. 70 thousand tons exploded in Odessa port (fuel and lubricants. – Ed.). I think this blow is not the last

– summed up Tsargrad’s interlocutor.

What of this?

While Ukraine begs, Russia develops and implements. Compresses the ring around the enemy and forges victory. Which is impossible to achieve on foreign alms.
