Minecraft Steve is coming to Super Smash Bros Ultimate on October 13 as the seventh DLC character. The trailer for the character was previously shown, but today it became clearer what role the character will play in the game, and how it will play.
We still have to recover from the shock a bit, but it really is. Minecraft is coming to Smash! The newest character comes in the next patch with a new stage and seven new tracks. Unfortunately, none of the tracks are from the original game, due to the fact that they don’t fit a Smash fight.
Steve uses resources on and in the stage to implement his game plan. He obtains this by mining the stage. The surface of the stage has an impact on what materials Steve can mine. Iron surfaces mainly give iron, for example. Steve can use these resources to build blocks and carry his weapons. You can build blocks off the stage, which will cause strange interactions.
Steve will be released on October 13th and will be playable along with the new Minecraft World stage. For the full gameplay presentation you can watch the video below.
