Developers from Build Studio have introduced Rocket Boy a new AAA game called MindsEye. In the above attachment teaser trailer you can see snippets from the gameplay itself showing several characters led by actor Alex Hernandez (Mafia 3’s Lincoln Clay) or a brief glimpse of a car chase. This, for a change, indicates the presence of an open world and a certain similarity with the GTA series.
The similarity may not be purely coincidental. At the head of the studio stands Leslie Benzieswho worked as a producer and lead designer on Rockstar games for 18 years, leading the Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption series.
Studio Build and Rocket Boy already presented a game with the name some time ago Everywhere, which, according to the authors, offers a world of unlimited possibilities. The title MindsEye will also be available through Everywhere. Everything points to the fact that Everywhere will rather be a kind of larger platform that will group several game projects under it.
Despite the connection with Everywhere, MindsEye is intended to be independent story action adventure set in a world dominated by futuristic corporations and new technologies. For a better understanding of this unconventional concept, we will probably have to wait for more information from the authors themselves. But the developers clearly do not lack ambition.
