and of any activity, project or factor that generates or may generate environmental deterioration, including any form of incorporation of substances into the soil.
If, as a result of the fulfillment of these functions, any situation that may constitute a violation of environmental regulations is identified, it is up to the corporations to impose the preventive and sanctioning measures that may arise. Consequently, the absence of an updated regulatory framework, which is specifically related to pig farming, does not prevent the environmental authorities from carrying out the evaluation, control and monitoring tasks that correspond to them to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
