Eyewitnesses claim that the victim was celebrating his birthday
A man died as a result of an explosion in the Odesa region while swimming in the sea, and his head was blown off by the blast, reports the Ukrainian news agency UNIAN. The tragedy was reported to journalists by the operational command of the “Pivden” missile corps.
“An explosion has erupted in the coastal waters of one of the beaches in the Odesa region. Ignoring the warnings and the ban, disregarding the security measures, a local resident has decided to swim in the sea. After entering the water, the man was blown up by an unknown device.
As a result of the explosion, a traumatic amputation of the head occurred,” the command source told the media.
Witnesses of the tragedy wrote on social networks that the deadly explosion occurred in a resort village in the Belgorod-Dniester region. Eyewitnesses claim that the victim had a birthday when he found death.
