Last farewell tomorrow Wednesday 9/10 to the great music composer Mimi Plessas, who died on October 5 just before turning 100.
His funeral will take place at 15:00 at the First Cemetery of Athens and his body will be there from 10 in the morning, as announced by his wife on Facebook.
“She left in my arms”
Loukila Carrer Plessa was emotional on Saturday talking about the last moments of her beloved, Mimi.
“He died in my arms. It cooled off last night. I was caressing him, telling him “thank you for what we lived through”. I was trying to give him some water, he had only stopped eating and drinking for three days, nothing else. “Drink some water so we can get back to our lives.” I told him what a wonderful year I had, thank you for everything, for our child, for everything. He heard what he wanted, he makes an ah and chills on my chest” he said.
“So it was a blessed ending. As if I knew it and made this love confession to him. He left in my arms, that’s a blessing. No hospitals, no doctors, no pain, nothing.”
