THE Miltos Tedoglou enters the battle for another Olympic medal tonight. The start of the long jump final is scheduled for 21:15 with telecast by ERT 2.
The 27-year-old athlete from Grevena passed the preliminary round with abbreviated procedures. With a jump of 8.32m. made it to the grand final and tonight he will compete with the aim of bringing another medal for Greece, being one of the favorites for the gold.
After his comfortable qualification to the final of the long jump at the Olympic Games, Miltos Tedoglou spoke to the ERT camera about his race. In fact, he stated that if in the final the conditions are favorable and there is no negative wind, then he can achieve a record.
“If the weather favors me even a little, it will be better in the final. If it has a negative wind, I don’t know how easy it is to make a record. I believe that if the conditions are favorable on the sixth of the month, then I will be able to set a record”, he said characteristically.
