Milos Raonic wants to sell his New York condo for $10 million!

Here are some things you can buy with $10 million these days:

Two steaks at the grocery store, half a tank of gas, or Milos Raonic’s condo in New York.

Because yes, the great tennis player is selling his New York condo for 10 million. In fact, the actual price is exactly $9,995,000. I imagine it’s to be listed in properties for sale that cost less than $10 million. At least the washer and dryer are included in the sale price. No prank!

On the sales sheet of his real estate agent, there are not many pictures of the interior of the condo. But there are several of the view that you will have on the outside if you decide to buy it. Anyone looking to buy a home knows that is never a good sign.

My theories on this?

  1. It’s really smaller than it looks
  2. There are renovations to be done and it is “a project for do-it-yourselfers”
  3. Milos Raonic did not have time to clean up before the photographer’s visit
  4. All of these answers

Another interesting detail before showing you the photos: the condominium fees are $9,981 per month. Almost $120,000 a year to have the snow removed from the front door of the block, to have the sweeper run in the hallway and to have someone place chlorine pucks in the communal swimming pool.

The condo (with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and a powder room) is U-shaped so that each room can benefit from an outdoor gallery. That said, there doesn’t seem to be any screens in the windows. I know I’m a bit of a picky eater, but for $10 million I expected at least that…

Since the start of his career, Milos Raonic won just over $20 million in scholarships at tennis tournaments. But it was with sponsors, including New Balance, that he was able to raise tens of millions of dollars.

Raonic had purchased the place in April 2019 for $7,600,000. If he gets his prize, he will have made quite a profit in just three years!
