The chairman of the board of directors of the club HK Dukla Trenčín, Miloš Radosa, announced the end of his post. He will end his tenure at the latest after this season.
He informed about his decision in an open letter, which he published on the social network X. The reason is, among other things, dissatisfaction with the president of SZĽH Miroslav Šatan, whom he criticized.
“After this season at the latest, I will retire as chairman of the board of directors of HK Dukla Trenčín. Every person, including me, comes into the new year with new resolutions and wishes. My commitment is to fundamentally limit contact with toxic people, or people who silently support toxic people, and to focus on my family and helping people who need it the most.
This also results from my decision to end my work as the chairman of the board of directors of HK Dukla Trenčín a.s. at the latest after the end of this season. I will continue to be a shareholder of HK Dukla Trenčín. I don’t want to go into too much detail about the reasons for my decision, but they are certainly related to the diametrically different views of some of the shareholders on the functioning of the club in terms of sports and management.
The last 2 years have convinced me of a more significant problem, and this is also related to some representatives of HK Dukla Trenčín as, but also to the setting of leading representatives of sports in Slovakia, namely the management of the SOV, the management of the SZĽH, but also representatives of some clubs and sports associations.
I can’t continue to listen to the nonsense about the apolitical nature of sports and then watch provocative photo-ops at meetings of these people with political representatives who publicly display affection for Putin’s occupying regime, murdering innocent people, including children. These are more serious events that personally disturb and hurt me immensely compared to any sporting ambitions.
I am a person who has loved sports immensely since childhood, unfortunately these “sports role models” of ours fundamentally limited my enthusiasm for involvement in sports. Our future generation of athletes receives a strong slap in the face with their approach. The cliché that sports should unite, in this case strikes to a fundamentally different moral and value approach to the events that move the world today.
In conclusion, I would like to wish the boys the best possible results and thank the fans and partners who supported me in difficult times and at the same time assure them that as long as I continue in the position of chairman of the board until the end of this season, I will do my best for the success and stability of HK Dukla Trenčín as”
