On Monday, May 9, he came into the world Milothe son who Martin Liberman had with Ana Laura Lópezhis wife since 2019. Liberman I already had Blas12 years old, product of a previous relationship, but in both cases, the path he had to travel to be a father was not easy at all.
After a long wait, an endless series of treatments and some “Chinese rituals” that the sports journalist carried out days before D-Day to help the baby settle and turn towards the birth canal, the little one was finally born in the Sanatorium of the Trinity of Palermo.
Things were not easy, as Martín told teleshowin a dialogue in which he explained the long process of fertilization treatments they underwent with his partner, since he suffers from azoospermia, an alteration in his sperm.
“This is the realization of a miracle. It is a prize for not giving up. I never had itching when it came to telling about the medical vicissitudes that I had to go through. On the contrary. I felt that it was almost an obligation, because it was the way to encourage people who are going through the same situation so that they know that it is possible“, said.
In total there were three in vitro fertilization treatments that they did to achieve pregnancy. Every month, Martín Liberman gave her injections of medication to stimulate her ovaries, which would then be fertilized in the laboratory.
“We had to do it because I have azoospermia. My son Blas was born after seven treatments. I am used to struggles, postponements and I have a lot of patience. My experience was very useful to cope with everything we were experiencing”he added.
What is azoospermia? According to the site reproduccionasistida.org es “the total absence of spermatozoa in the ejaculate”. This alteration can be obstructive, that is, spermatozoa are produced, but they cannot be expelled in the ejaculate; or secretory, when the testicles are unable to produce sperm.
“Before you are born we tell the midwife and the team our love story and the struggle of your search. We remember each one of the professionals who helped us and made this moment real, and we name them as if it were a tribute and thanks”Milo wrote at birth.
And, moved, Martín dedicated his son: “You arrived, as everything always comes, and you will change the life of each one of us, who love you infinitely and unconditionally.”
