BAMAKO- The CAF African Inter-Club Cup returns to the continent this week for the first round. Guinea is concerned about two of its representatives, namely Milo FC, the champion of Guinea who will play in the Champions League for the first time, and Hafia FC, the former champion of Guinea, into the CAF Cup.
These two clubs have one thing in common, they play away only in Bamako in Mali, where they hold their home games, due to the lack of a licensed stadium in Guinea. The first Guinean representative club in the ring will be Milo FC from Kankan, against Nouadhibou from Mauritania this Friday at 4pm, at the March 26 stadium in Bamako. As for Hafia FC, in this first preliminary round they will challenge Burkinabés Étoile Filante on Sunday August 18, in the same stadium March 26 in Bamako.
Hopefully our two Guinean representatives can achieve their dreams, which is to join the group stages of these two inter-club cups of the Confederation of African Football.
