Amsterdam – Higher pensions through indexation, millions of retirees have only dreamed of it for years, and a miracle must happen if the pension funds for civil servants, healthcare workers and metal workers – who will announce their latest funding levels on Thursday – can suddenly increase the benefit next year. Despite the record positions on the stock exchange, the AEX also closed higher than ever on Wednesday, they are too far behind for that, as it turns out month after month.
