The former deputy and former director of the intervened San Cristóbal cooperative, Juan Carlos Ozorio Godoy, apparently left records of his fruitful businesses in his affidavits presented to the Comptroller General of the Republic (CGR). This is how millionaire movements of money appear in a matter of seven years, reaching 2020 with a net worth of G. 22,633 million, around US $ 3,233,374, according to the documentation.
25 properties in a year
Ozorio Godoy made his first appearance in politics back in 2012, accompanying former deputy Óscar Tuma as the first alternate for the Lower House. He was part of the Honor Colorado movement, led by the then candidate for President of the Republic, Horacio Cartes.

Ozorio’s DJ of the year 2020 shows that he himself, from his foray into politics, began an economic takeoff. Thus, only in 2013 it appears that he acquired 25 of the 40 properties declared as his. Most of them are in the city of Ypacaraí (Central Department), according to the documentation.
Ozorio continued to buy land in the following years, adding another 14 between 2014 and 2018, according to his DJ.
A striking point is that in 2016 there is the acquisition of properties for very high values in Capitan Bado (Department of Amambay), Lambaré, Ypacaraí, Luque (Central) and Ciudad del Este (Alto Paraná). The prices of the lots, according to the documentation, were from G. 500 million to G. 5,300 million.
Vehicles and actions
The then deputy declared in 2020 that he had seven vehicles, made up of vans, trucks and a bus. The total value of these assets was more than G. 1,245 million, according to the documents.

Two sons of the former deputy appear as directors in this firm; Asuncion councilor Juan Carlos and José Mauricio Ozorio Admen, according to the latest commercial records consulted by ABC and subject to updating.
More than 150 million
Regarding his monthly income, the former legislator declared in 2020 G. 155 million, of which G. 70 million corresponded to his remuneration without specifying the origin, G. 25 million for rents and G. 60 million for transportation services.

His expenses were G. 119,300,000, according to the documentation.
Juan Carlos Ozorio did not record annual income, but he did record expenses for G. 46 million, corresponding to Income Tax, Iracis and Real Estate Tax, according to his affidavit.
Fortune almost 10% of his father’s
Juan Carlos Ozorio Admen, son of former deputy Juan Carlos Ozorio Godoy, fully entered politics since last year. He went hand in hand with the Tenonderã internal colorado movement led by the former legislator.
Ozorio Admen currently occupies a seat in the Municipal Board of Asunción and in the last stretch of his proselytizing campaign he had strongly accompanied the questioned Chartist mayor Óscar “Nenecho” Rodríguez.
According to the affidavit of the mayor of Asuncion presented at the end of last year, his assets were G. 2,319 million, made up of a building and a truck, while his liabilities reached G. 161 million, consisting of debts with the intervened Cooperativa San Cristóbal and in which his father was the main director.

The councilman said that his monthly expenses did not exceed G. 3,000,000.
Striking movements of Chartist deputy
Another of those who appeared sprinkled within the framework of the operation “A Ultranza Py” is the Chartist deputy Erico Galeano. This legislator sold a luxurious house located in the Aqua Village Urbanization in the city of Altos (Cordillera) to one of those accused of alleged drug trafficking, Hugo González.
González appears as the person in charge of providing logistics to the alleged leaders of the alleged drug network that operated in our country: the Insfrán clan, made up of the brothers Miguel, José, Conrado and Yolanda. Thus, the new owner of the former legislator’s excasa was Miguel Insfrán, according to the investigators.

The Chartist deputy to distance himself from the subject, through his lawyers, spoke of a sale of the house for US $ 1,000,000 almost at the end of 2020, in the midst of the health and economic crisis due to the covid.
The curious thing is that said residence and even more a millionaire amount for some of his properties did not appear in his affidavit presented in 2018. However, the statement of assets of the legislator contains striking records on the handling of money.
For example, Erico Galeano said that he handles more than G. 8,857 million in cash and did not register any bank account.

Likewise, it appears that the largest number of properties was acquired between 2013 and 2018, coincidentally during the presidency of the Republic of its leader and friend Horacio Cartes, according to the DJ.
Monthly income
Another striking point is that Erico Galeano declared that his monthly income exceeds G. 3,632 million, being G. 3,500 million from the sale of real estate. In this regard, something curious is that the seven companies registered by the deputy do not have the real estate business as their main item.
Galeano said that his monthly expenses do not exceed G. 83 million. However, the contributions to Deportivo Capiatá do not appear, of which, according to the current leaders of that club, he is the only contributor.
Interestingly, another head of the alleged disrupted drug network, Sebastián Marset, was signed by Deportivo Capiatá for a few months in 2021.
