The star of the reality show explained that in the last conversation she had with her ex-friend she received an icy response through a text message, after the relationship of Markle con Harry was made public.

According to the former participant of Made in Chelsea, Meghan was in a difficult moment when their friendship broke down, because although she already had experience with the media having developed a career as an actress, what she began to live through her relationship with Harry it was much more overwhelming, so Mackintosh tried to support him without much success.

“I know what it’s like to have a lot of media attention. It can be really overwhelming and unpleasant, so I messaged him and said, ‘Hey, I hope you’re doing well. I’m thinking of you,” she said.

Mackintosh said Markle he responded with an “abrupt message” that was unlike any conversation they had ever had before. “What I read from that message was that maybe he needed some space. Maybe she needed to calm down, she was angry, maybe she was under a lot of pressure… So I didn’t send her messages again… But I hoped we would keep in touch,” said the influencer.
