Military from Armenia and Azerbaijan came to clashes on Tuesday along the border, as the defense ministries of both countries reported killed soldiers, AP reported.
Neither side though did not specify how many of its soldiers were killed or wounded.
The Ministry of Defense of Armenia reported that Azerbaijan has fired on soldiers who committed unspecified engineering work near the Armenian village of Teg, about 3 kilometers from the border.

We recall that The confrontation follows months of tension over the blocking of the only road connecting Armenia with Nagorno-Karabakh, an ethnic Armenian enclave in Azerbaijan.
The collision area is located along the Lachin Corridor, the road that leads to Nagorno-Karabakh.
This region came under the control of ethnic Armenian forces backed by Armenia in 1994 after a separatist war in which Armenia also took control of neighboring territories.
During the six weeks of intense fighting in 2020 that ended with a Russian-brokered truce, Azerbaijan took control of the territories and part of itself Nagorno-Karabakh. Russia sent a peacekeeping force tasked with maintaining order and protecting the Lachine Corridor.

But in December demonstrators claiming to be environmental activists began blocking the road, claiming that Armenia is conducting illegal mining in the region.
