Slovakia transferred four Mi-17 helicopters, one Mi-2 helicopter and ammunition for the Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) to Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Slovakia Yaroslav Nagy, reports Аktuality.

According to the minister, the Mi-17 and Mi-2 helicopters, as well as ammunition for the Grad MLRS, transferred to Ukraine, like all previous deliveries, Slovakia will be reimbursed by the European Peace Fund. This, Nagy said, “is a strong definition of the European Union’s solidarity with Ukraine.”
Helicopters and ammunition are already in Ukraine and are used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the minister noted.
