IN interview for the TSN.ua YouTube project “Alone”, the showman noted that one must believe in victory and do everything possible to make it happen. However, it is impossible to say exactly when the war will end.
“Definitely there has to be hope, there has to be faith. We have to know that we’re doing everything we can to win. We have to do it. Should we be prepared that it won’t end tomorrow, in a year, in ten ? So!” – said the actor.

Gennadiy Popenko emphasized that Ukrainians had to fight with Russians throughout their history, because there was no such period when Moscow did not go to Ukraine with a war. According to the presenter, sometimes it was possible to fight back, and sometimes not. During the full-scale war, this finally became clear to many Ukrainians.
“We have been at war with Moscow since 1250, when they first burned Kyiv. Since then, it has never been the case that we were fraternal nations, that the Muscovites did not approach us. We were constantly at war. Sometimes we could fight back, or we could not. Saying: ” We need a victory, because we have been fighting for so long”… We have been fighting for so long that you can’t even imagine how long we have been fighting. It’s just that now it has finally become visible to many,” the actor added.
