In the hearing in which Army Lieutenant Fabián García Céspedes admitted his war crimes and crimes against humanity, he acknowledged that he allowed himself to be bribed not to involve the current General Henry William Torres Escalante in these events.
The soldier also revealed that he has also lied in his versions to the JEP. Given these confessions, the Truth Recognition Chamber will review the case to take the corresponding measures.
