Cherry sauce, spiders and cigarettes … The video clip for Miley Cyrus‘new single Prisoner, the long-awaited result of its collaboration with Be the Onesinger Dua Lipa, contains it all. The video is exactly as Cyrus fans are used to: wild and spicy.
Miley Cyrus has released a new sneak peek of her upcoming album Plastic Hearts (in stores from November 27). Prisoner is a pretty catchy pop album. The song will sound familiar to the attentive listener: Cyrus has used a sample of Physical from Olivia Newton-John (yes, out Grease) in front of Prisoner. No ordinary stealing, but a conscious wink.
Incidentally, her new album will suffice with this kind of wink. The singer wants to with Plastic Hearts namely honoring her musical idols of the eighties. That’s how she liked her previously released single Midnight Sky inspiration in Stevie Nicks Seventeen. The album will also feature the golden throats of Billy Idol and Joan Jett.
Wild video clip
In the video clip of Prisoner Cyrus and Dua Lipa party wildly in a tour bus. The video has a bit of a ‘spooky’ atmosphere. The ladies also seem to enjoy each other a lot. In addition, Cyrus pours himself nicely with cherry sauce. Good music and an exciting clip … What more could you want?
