President Javier Milei received the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, this Monday at Casa Rosada, in a meeting that lasted just over an hour. During the meeting, Johnson presented Milei with a copy of his recent autobiography, Unleashed (“Unleashed”), where he reveals anecdotes from his time in power, including his confession about the possibility of “launching an aquatic raid” in the Netherlands to steal doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Milei used to perform covers of the British band in a band he had when he was young. According to reports, during the talk Milei expressed her desire to meet the singer. The former prime minister responded that he would manage the meeting himself.
No mention of the Falklands
Despite the historical importance of the relationship between Argentina and the United Kingdom regarding the issue of the Malvinas Islands, they did not talk about the issue.
Johnson arrived in South America to participate in the XII Picton-El Mercurio Seminar in Chile this Thursday.
