Mild Christmas Eve expected in Lower Saxony and Bremen

Residents of Lower Saxony and Bremen can expect a cloudy and sometimes rainy Christmas Eve on Saturday. The mild temperatures are between seven and ten degrees and there is a light to moderate wind blowing from the southwest, the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Saturday. Wind gusts, some of them stormy, can also occur in the southern half of the country until the morning.

The rain will ease around midday, after which there will be only a few showers, a good time for an afternoon Christmas walk. Sunday night will remain overcast and in places it will be overcast or misty, with visibility in some places below 150 meters. It cools down from three to six degrees.
