Milan, tornado at Milanello. A tree falls on the road: isolated sports center

Half-hour water bomb during training, the team continued to work in the gym. Problems with electricity and telephony too

A water bomb, violent and sudden, as unfortunately we are now used to seeing at any latitude. Very turbulent morning, that of Friday, in Milanello (Municipality of Carnago, province of Varese), where a whirlwind struck that created a lot of inconvenience and some damage.

Nothing about the team per se: the players were on the pitch when the weather got worse and they regularly continued working out in the gym. Outside, however, it was half an hour of very intense bad weather with a black night sky, torrential rain and violent gusts of wind. So much so that a tree fell on the access road to the sports center, which passes through the woods. In practice, Milanello is currently isolated: you cannot arrive or leave, until the tree is removed. Problems also with electricity and telephony.
