“Milan to receive 50 million euros for summer transfers, with potential for more”

La Gazzetta dello Sport announces that the Milan management will allocate 50 million euros for the club’s transfers.

This is a fixed amount from Redbird, and whether this amount will increase or not depends on Maldini and Massara. The club’s management has been tasked with selling unwanted Pioli players.

There is a big cleanup going on. If Maldini and Massara can sell all the players they don’t need, the club will save around €28m on their salaries and €20m could be generated from their sales. As a result, the summer transfer budget can be increased by just over 100 million euros.
