Slovakia and the Czechia are recovering from the sudden death of the popular actor and singer Milan Lasica, who died on Sunday, July 18, right on stage in front of the audience. However, sadness and longing are felt not only by his fans, but especially by those closest to him. The actor left behind daughters Hana and Žofia. They are also very successful in their lives, but they do not follow in the footsteps of well-known parents. They were attracted to completely different areas.
The popular actor Milan Lasica has an inexhaustible number of roles and theater performances to his credit. He had many admirers not only in Slovakia but also in the Czech Republic. Together with his wife, actress Magda Vášáryová, they formed a beautiful and stable couple, which was a great inspiration for many. Lasica and Vášáryová gave their lives to two daughters – the older Hana and the younger Žofia. However, compared to their parents, they do not appear in public so often, especially Žofie. They both went in a completely different direction in their professional lives.
Literature has triumphed over economics
The eldest of the daughters, Hana, since childhood according to eXtra she traveled very often. At the age of nine, when her mother Magda became ambassador to Vienna, she moved to Austria for three years and even graduated from university there. Although at first it seemed to gravitate towards economics, in the end literature won out. It was here that Hanka later studied in Paris, where she lived for some time after her studies. Eventually, however, she returned to her native Slovakia and began to devote herself fully to writing her own books, of which she currently has a good number on her account. She even dedicated one of her books to her father Milan Lasic. It’s called “All About My Father.”
Thanks to her profession, Hana is heard more often than her younger sister Žofia. She guards her privacy, does not appear in public on social networks and seems to enjoy life without much attention.
She preferred business
And even the younger Zofia did not want to follow in the footsteps of famous parents. Instead, she threw herself into business. She seldom accompanied her father and mother at various social events, so it is not even publicly known what the younger of the daughters actually looks like today.
When she married her longtime friend in 2013, she tried her best to keep the wedding under wraps to avoid the unwanted attention of journalists and photographers. However, a few pictures from the wedding were made public.
