AC Milan managed to beat Juve 2-0 in week 9 Liga Italy this season. Stefano Pioli’s team earns valuable capital in view of hosting Chelsea in the Champions League next week.
Playing at San Siro on Saturday (8/10/2022), Milan appeared more passionate than Juventus. They also managed to score two goals with Fikayo Tomori at minute 45 + 1 and Brahim Diaz at minute 54.
This result brings the Rossoneri to third place classification with 20 points, equal to Atalanta and Napoli but the last two names have a saved game. While Juventus is in eighth position with 13 points.

The course of the game
Juventus spread the threat first in the 3 ‘, but Filip Kostic’s close-range shot ended wide on the left of Milan’s goal. At 9 ‘it is the turn of Juan Cuadrado who fails to reach the target.
Milan responds in the 11th minute with a shot from distance by Theo Hernandez, but the ball doesn’t hit the mark. Juventus have another chance in the 12th minute, but Arkadiusz Milik’s low shot was easily secured by Ciprian Tatarusanu.
Rafael Leao nearly opened the scoring for AC Milan in the 20 ‘from a corner, but his close-range heel hit the post and went off the pitch. From here the pressure from Milan becomes more intense.
At 34 ‘Leao’s long-range shot also hit the post. But luck has finally overshadowed Milan in the first time of recovery.

Brahim Diaz then made a solo run to launch a counterattack by deceiving the back row of Juventus, then concluded with a hard shot in the right corner of the Juventus goal. Szczesny had time to wipe out, but the ball went inside.
Winning two goals, Milan were enthusiastic about the attack. Even without the presence of Angel Di Maria, currently disqualified, Juventus’ creativity cannot be seen on the pitch.
Olivier Giroud has a chance in the 60th minute, but his header missed Szczesny’s goal. Likewise with the efforts of Rade Krunic in the 64th minute.
