The Champions League semifinals brought together Inter Milan with AC Milan. Simone Inzaghi believe that Philip Inzaghi will be happy if the Nerazzurri win.
The Derby della Madonnina or also known as the Milan derby was presented in the semifinals of the Champions League this season. Milan first became the host on May 11 and a week later it was Inter’s turn.
Inter advanced after evicting Benfica with an aggregate of 5-3. Milan toppled Napoli after winning 2-1 on aggregate.
This Milan derby led to the brother-sister relationship between Simone and Filippo. Simone is currently Inter coach and Filippo has had a lot of success at AC Milan as a player.
Filippo Inzaghi has already commented on the Milan Derby. He admitted that he was happy, but emphasized that he was still a Milan fan.
“This is a perfect semifinal. I am tied to Milan and will always be a Milan fan,” said Filippo Inzagih as quoted by Tuttosport.
“Of course I will support Milan, but I am happy for my brother because he deserves it.”
Simone responded casually to the statement from her brother. Simone insists there is something true about Filippo’s statement.
“I think he is telling the truth when he says it was the perfect semi-final. You know the relationship I have with my brother, of course he is a Milan supporter and of course loves his brother, so whatever happens he will be happy,” Simone confirmed. .
