Milan continues to fly to the Scudetto

The team of Milan beat Sampdoria 2: 1 as a guest in a match of the 10th round of the Italian Serie A.

In the first half, Milan was a complete master of the field, but often missed. However, in the last minute of the half, the “Rossoneri” got the right to execute a penalty and Frank Casey was right for 0: 1.

The second half was a little more equal and in it the two teams exchanged one goal each. First Samuel Castiejo doubled the lead of the guests (77 ‘), and a little later Albin Ekdal returned a goal, but the time was not enough for anything more.

With the victory, Milan topped the first place, and Sampdoria dropped to 12th position.

At the beginning of the match, the hosts came out with a special team and both teams kept a minute of silence in memory of their deceased former player Mario Maraschi.

In the 8th minute there was a commotion after a home corner, and in the end Gianluigi Donaruma managed to kill a dangerous header by Lorenzo Tonelli.

Ten minutes later, Berezhinsky was forced to leave the field and was replaced by Omar Koli.

Milan was the complete master of the field and at the very end of the first half received the right to execute an 11-meter penalty kick. The ball hit the hand of Jakob Jancto and the referee was adamant – a penalty for Milan. Frank Casey stood behind the ball and he was right for 0: 1. This was the 8th penalty for Milan in the last 10 rounds.

Two minutes after the resumption of the game, the guests could have doubled their lead, but Tonali’s shot bounced off the crossbar and went out.

Samdoria had several good positions to equalize, but Milan scalded their opponent. Just a minute after appearing in the game, Castiejo signed for the Rossoneri and made their lead quite solid.

5 minutes later, however, Sampdoria returned to the match. Albin Ekdal caught the ball after a corner kick and hit it in the left corner, leaving no chances for Donaruma.

Samdoria failed to create anything more in the match and Milan left with the full set of points.
