The 2024 World Championship Track began on October 16th in Ballerup, Denmark.
The men’s individual pursuit held on the third day (18th) of the tournament was won by Jonathan Milan (Italy).

The race was split with Charlton at home and Milan at the back. Milan took the lead from the beginning, and the cars continued to lap each other.

Milan took the lead in the early stages with a one-second lead, but Charlton gradually caught up. In the final stages, Charlton narrowed the gap by about a tenth of a second each lap, but in the end Milan was able to pull away and set a new world record finishing time of 3:59.153.

The podium was won by Milan, who broke the world record, with Charlton in second and Daniel Bigham in third.
