The Algerian midfielder joins the club for another 4 years: 50 million clause valid from 2024: “Proud to continue here”
Ismael Bennacer signed the renewal that will officially tie him to Milan until 2027, the previous agreement expired in 2024: “Very proud to continue here.” The contract provides for a release clause of 50 million, valid starting from next year’s summer transfer market session. An extension strongly desired by the Algerian midfielder, who over time has become one of the pivots of Pioli’s tactical set-up, Sandro Tonali’s perfect midfielder. The salary of Bennacer, who presented himself at Casa Milan together with the agent Enzo Raiola, will go from the current 1.5 million to around 4 million while the rescission clause is valid only in the first two weeks of July.
After the renewal, Bennacer spoke to Milan TV: “I am very proud to continue with Milan. I am part of this family and I want to give even more for the team, the fans and the club. We are very different from when I arrived three years ago, the great route that we have built and are still building is part of my goals: I hope to do even better for the team and individually. From the first home game to today, it always affects me play in front of our fans: they give us more and more with each meeting, I am very happy because I feel that there is something special between me and them”.
