The “Tutti i Colori dello Sport” initiative, promoted by AC Milan in collaboration with Banco BPM and the Società Editoriale Vita, is part of the RESPACT program, launched by the Rossoneri Club to promote social equity, equality and inclusivity. The project includes a series of events that will see the involvement of Italian schools and some community networks, a privileged place in which to promote virtuous opportunities for comparison.
The aim of “Tutti i Colori dello Sport” is to inspire the new generations to a culture of dialogue and reflection by sharing the growth experiences of the Rossoneri representatives who have always been committed to sharing educational values linked to sport.
Yesterday it was the turn of the students of the fifth classes of the IIS Olga Fiorini – Marco Pantani, high school of Busto Arsizio. About 150 students had the opportunity, together with a group of young people from the Exodus cooperative who intervened in connection, to confront the Rossoneri striker Valentina Bergamaschi and Davide Cordone, Deputy Coach of Milan Women. During the meeting, the Milan testimonials debated together with Marco Aldeghi – Head of the Milan and Northern Lombardy Territorial Department of Banco BPM – and the young students, who spoke with numerous questions, on issues related to gender equality and the difficulties that an athlete can meet along the way.
The program will continue during the next school year. Appointment in October for the first of a series of new meetings dedicated to the comparison with Italian high school students on the issues of diversity, tolerance and inclusion.
Sara Ciapparella, Head of the Professional Sports Institute Marco Pantani commented: “Our Institute, for more than 15 years involved in the educational and school project in support of student athletes and sportsmen, is very much in tune with the values promoted by the Association that call to respect for oneself and for others, equality, solidarity and volunteering. These themes are addressed with our children starting from sport, a great vehicle for transmitting these values, if known and lived correctly “.
Martino Roghi, AC Milan CSR & Sustanability Manager added: “The protagonists of these meetings are the kids: we are proud to be able to contribute to the debate set up by the teachers regarding fundamental issues on which AC Milan has committed itself with the RESPACT manifesto. that our testimonials can make an important contribution to nurture a culture of sensitivity, respect and inclusion in the students. We are happy to have the friends of Vita and Banco BPM at our side in this adventure, with whom we share values and methodology “.
Marco Aldeghi, Head of the Milan and Northern Lombardy Territorial Department of Banco BPM, said: “We are proud to be able to support AC Milan in this project that promotes inclusiveness, culture and awareness of gender equality in schools. these issues mean having a more aware adult tomorrow.
