Milad Youssef presents his viewpoint on collaborative efforts, which asserts itself.

The Syrian actor, Milad Youssef, stressed the importance of joint dramatic artworks in the Arab world, which imposed themselves on the ground, considering that these works are a healthy image and open new horizons because their audience is wider and reaches a large segment of Arab youth.

Syrian actor Milad Youssef said in an exclusive interview with “Sky News Arabia” that Arab drama expanded this year and moved from individual stories towards a broader treatment by raising issues of conflicts in societies.

Youssef said that the official promotional poster for the character “Hamza”, which he recently published on his personal page, embodies his character in the events of the awaited Ramadan series “Al-Arabji” throughout the blessed month of Ramadan.

The young actor revealed to “Sky News Arabia” about one of his Ramadan works, which will be called “The Night of the Fall”, which is a joint Arab-Syrian-Iraqi-Egyptian work directed by Naji Tohme, discussing the stage of ISIS’s entry into Iraqi Mosul in 2018.

Youssef talked about the Ramadan series “Al-Arabji”:

  • This series does not belong to the Levantine environment, but it is a story from this environment presented in a new way and with a modern template.
  • In this series, the decoration is different and funky, as well as the clothes and costumes.
  • “Al-Arbaji” was filmed in the ancient Levant, where an entire city was built for it.
  • It is written by Othman Juhi and Moayad Al-Nabulsi, directed by Saif Al-Subaie, and produced by Golden Line.

What about platforms and television?

The young actor described that “the platforms are a new and special case that concerns a wide segment of Arab youth, just as television remains its audience.

He concluded, “The platforms give more freedom in presenting new ideas and are distinguished from television by boldness, because the latter is directed to a family audience.”
