“Believe that Varna can choose another path, a path that can justify people’s expectations and restore their faith,” Mikov also said, quoted by the party’s press center.
BSP-Varna marked the beginning of the party’s 125th anniversary on Wednesday evening.
“I’m here to say – have a good time Annie. I am glad that the BSP is behind her in the local elections. I am glad that the party is betting on people with a biography and authority for both regional mayors and municipal councilors. A list was made in which a balance was found between rejuvenation and knowledge,” said Mikov.
According to the leader of BSP – Varna, Borislav Gutsanov, the organization has a lot to be proud of, because it has proven that it knows the city’s problems and has worked to solve them.
“Were we not the ones who made Varna twice the best city to live in Bulgaria?” Didn’t the program for the construction of new kindergartens start during the BSP administration, at a time when kindergartens were being closed and demolished throughout the country? To get to the point where the current administration is cutting ribbons and declaring there is no longer a shortage of places. Didn’t we make the municipal program in vitro, then it became national? Didn’t we start the first major infrastructure projects in our time, not cosmetic repairs,” said Gutsanov.
He gave an example of the “Levski” borehole, the expansion of the lakeside road “Devnia”.

We are a team,” said Gutsanov before introducing the candidates for mayors that the BSP – Varna will vote for in the local elections this fall – Plamen Gradinarov for mayor of Primorski district, Yordanka Yunakova for mayor of Mladost district, Alexi Alexiev for mayor of Odesos district, Martin Zlatev for mayor of “Asparuhovo” district.
“You stood by me and believed in me. You stood by me and that is why I am strong and I am convinced that I will succeed in this mission. I am sure of victory because our ideas are right. We work for the good of Varna, we want social justice and we are sure that for our sake, for our children, for our grandchildren, we will be much more responsible and strong and we will not say anything that does not depend on us. On the contrary, everything depends on us and we must hold our lives in our hands, the lives of Varna, the lives of our children and our future. Now we are 500, but we will become 500,000, because we love Varna and believe in it,” said Prof. Anelia Klisarova, an independent candidate for mayor, to the gathered people.
