The State Secretary emphasized that the main message of the presentation is that the Central European nations – Slovaks, Hungarians, Romanians and Serbs – should strive for peace. “We have to look for what is common in each other,” emphasized Miklós Soltész, pointing out that these common values are clearly Christianity, encounters in culture and the image of the created world.
The message of Nick Vujicic’s presentation is in many respects the same as what the Hungarian government thinks, that is, that people with disabilities should receive as much understanding and social assistance as possible, he said. Vujicic’s example also shows that it is possible to become stronger after experiencing many difficulties and sufferings, and all this can be achieved mostly through faith. He added: the series of lectures to be held in several countries with the support of the Hungarian government will bring Central European nations closer together, and at the same time appeal to young people, highlighting the true values of life. “In order to preserve and strengthen these values here in Slovakia, the cooperation of Hungarians and Slovaks, or Slovakia and Hungary, is necessary,” stated Miklós Soltész, noting that it was therefore important to bring Vujicic’s performance to Kassa as well.
